I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. It felt cozy yet elegant, with beautiful attention to detail. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior, I appreciated that the hotel was accessible, with only a few manageable steps to reach the front door. It made it easier for me to navigate and enjoy my stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have a lift available. Climbing stairs can be challenging for some of us, and having a lift would make it easier to reach the upper floors.

The apartment at The Turret is absolutely stunning! The view from the bedroom window is breathtaking, with the sparkling blue sea stretching out before you. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up a delicious meal, and having a washing machine is so convenient. As a light sleeper, the comfortable bedroom ensured I had a peaceful night's sleep.
Personally, I found the flat-screen TV with satellite channels to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just me!

We recently stayed at The Turret and were blown away by the breathtaking views and charming decor. The attention to detail was impeccable, creating a truly romantic atmosphere for our getaway. With the beach and harbor just minutes away, the location was perfect for exploring Folkestone. The hosts, Lennie and Sally, were exceptionally helpful and provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of parking on the property, but there was a nearby paid parking option which solved the issue easily. we highly recommend The Turret for anyone looking for a special and memorable stay in Folkestone.
